Price depends on four factors: square footage, stairs, total drive distance between your old and new units, and how packed you are when we arrive. We confirm the full number in writing before move day starts.
How the move day works
- Arrival window. We give you a 1-hour arrival window (not a 4-hour guess). The lead mover calls 30 minutes out.
- Walkthrough. We walk the apartment with you, confirm what's going, what's staying, and flag any fragile pieces.
- Wrap and load. Furniture gets blanket-wrapped and shrink-wrapped. Boxes get stacked by room. Everything goes on dollies.
- Drive and unload. Short hop across town or 45 minutes across the metro — we drive directly, no side stops.
- Place and reassemble. Furniture goes where you want it. Beds get reassembled. Boxes get dropped in their labeled rooms.
- Final walkthrough and payment. You sign off when you're happy. Payment is card, cash, or Zelle.

Elevator buildings, walk-ups, and COI requirements
Most Kissimmee and Orlando apartment complexes require a Certificate of Insurance before they'll let movers through the gate. Greenway provides COIs free of charge — just forward us your building's COI requirements (general liability amount, workers' comp, and the certificate holder info) when you book, and we'll have the document ready on move day.
For walk-up buildings, expect a small stairs surcharge per flight above the ground floor. Elevator buildings are no extra charge, though we'll ask about elevator reservation windows and load limits when you book. Gated communities — just give us the gate code or leasing office number in advance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide boxes?
Yes, we bring boxes, packing paper, and tape if you need them. Let us know how many rooms you're moving when you book and we'll bring the right amount. We can also do full-service packing as an add-on the day before your move.
Tipping is never required. If you want to, competitive rates per mover for a half-day apartment move and each for a full day is standard. Cash at the end of the job is customary but not expected.
Do you do same-day apartment moves?

Do you charge extra for stairs?
Elevators are free. Stairs beyond the first floor typically add competitive rates per flight depending on the furniture volume going up or down. We quote this upfront — no surprise add-ons at the end.
Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance?
Yes, free of charge. Forward us your building's COI requirements when you book and we'll have it ready on move day. Most Kissimmee and Orlando apartment complexes require one — we deal with property managers every week.
What if my new place isn't ready yet?
We can do storage drop-offs or split loads across two days if needed. If you're in between leases, ask us about our residential moving service which covers multi-stop and storage scenarios.
