What's included in every appliance removal?

• Disconnect. Water valves shut off, supply lines removed, drain lines pulled, gas lines capped, power unplugged.
• Safe carry-out. Floor runners and door jamb protection on every job. Dollies and straps for heavy items.
• Freon recovery. For fridges, freezers, and window AC units, refrigerant is reclaimed by a certified tech before the unit is scrapped — full EPA compliance.
• Recycling. Metal components (steel drums, cast-iron motor plates, copper tubing) get recycled at a local scrap yard.
• Donation option. Working appliances under 10 years old may be donated to a local family or charity.
• Cleanup. Floors swept, no water left behind, and any loose hardware removed.

Do you handle refrigerators with Freon?

Yes. EPA rules require a certified tech to recover the refrigerant before a fridge can be crushed or scrapped. Most homeowners can't legally do this themselves, and most landfills won't take a fridge that hasn't been degassed. We handle it as part of the flat rate.

Can you take built-in or stacked units?

Yes. Built-in ovens, stacked washer/dryer units, and slide-in ranges all come out. If a built-in is trimmed out with cabinetry, let us know at booking so we can plan the right crew and tools.

Will you try to donate my appliances?

If the appliance is working and under ~10 years old, we'll attempt donation to a local family, charity, or Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Non-working units get recycled — the metal is still valuable.

Second-floor or stair removals?

Covered. We do apartment and upstairs removals constantly. A small stair surcharge may apply for heavier items like side-by-side fridges and double ovens.
