Hot Tub Removal in Orlando & Central Florida

Why choose Greenway for hot tub removal? Hot tub removal in Central Florida varies — . A standard 4-person tub sitting on a concrete patio varies based on size and access. A 6-person tub built into a deck or ringed with pavers varies based on complexity because of the extra cut-out work. Greenway drains, disconnects, cuts the shell into sections, and hauls everything in a single same-day visit — usually 2 to 4 hours on site.

Central Florida hot tub removal service depends on four things: the size of the tub, where it sits, whether it's drained, and how far we have to carry the pieces. Here's what we typically charge across Kissimmee, Orlando, St. Cloud, Clermont, and the surrounding metros:

What does the removal process look like?

Every hot tub removal follows the same four-step process. Our crew brings everything needed — you don't have to lift, drain, or disconnect anything.

  • Drain. If the tub is still full, we run a submersible pump to the yard or nearest drain. A 400-gallon tub drains in about 30–45 minutes.
  • Disconnect. We shut off the 240V GFCI breaker, disconnect the power feed at the sub-panel, and cap any water lines.
  • Cut into sections. Using reciprocating saws, we cut the acrylic shell and fiberglass base into 3–5 manageable pieces. Insulation foam is removed separately.
  • Haul and dispose. Shell pieces go to a C&D landfill. The metal frame, pumps, heater, and control pack get recycled at a scrap yard. The job site is swept before we leave.

How long does hot tub removal take?

Most hot tub removals take 2 to 4 hours on site. A small patio tub that's already drained can be done in 90 minutes. A large built-in tub surrounded by a wood deck can take up to 5 hours if we have to cut deck boards to get access.

Do I need to drain it first?

No, but it helps. If you drain the tub the night before, you save roughly an hour of on-site time and usually – off the final quote. If you'd rather not deal with it, we bring our own pump and handle it.

Do you repair the area after removal?

We leave the area swept and clean, but we don't do deck repair, tile work, or concrete patching. If you need the concrete pad broken up and hauled, add about – to the job.

  • Replacing it with a new unit and the dealer charges just to remove the old one
