What's included in gun safe removal?

• Floor protection. Plywood runners, Masonite, and rubber pads go down before the safe moves an inch.
• Unbolting. Most safes are anchored with 4 bolts into concrete or floor joists. We remove them with impact drivers.
• Specialty rigging. Heavy-duty stair-climbing dollies and 4-wheel safe movers rated for 1,500+ lbs.
• Crew. 2–3 person crew for anything over 500 lbs. 3–4 person for stairs.
• Haul and disposal. Safe goes to a scrap yard (for disposal) or donation partner (if functional).
• Cleanup. Floor runners picked up, area swept, anchor holes visible for your patching.

Can you remove a safe from a second floor?

Yes, but it requires extra planning. Upstairs removals add –competitive rates per flight because of the additional crew, time, and specialty equipment. Very tight stair turns or spiral staircases need a pre-quote visit to confirm the safe will physically fit.

Do you open locked safes?

No — we don't do lock picking or drilling. If your safe is locked and you don't have the combination, you'll need a locksmith before we can remove it. Safes are much safer to move once opened (less risk of dropping a loaded safe on tile).

What if the safe is bolted into concrete?

Common setup. We remove the 4 anchor bolts from the top of the safe floor with an impact gun. The anchors stay in the concrete — you can patch the holes later with hydraulic cement if needed.

Do you buy old safes?

No, but we'll try to donate or resell functional safes before scrapping them. The scrap steel value helps offset the removal on larger units.
